Nascar – Kyle Busch winner in Kansas

Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) scored his third victory of the season by winning the GoBowling 400 at Kansas Speedway, adding this race to his record where he had never won before. The reigning champion took advantage of the setbacks of leader Martin Truex Jr (Furniture Row Racing) who led 172 laps before encountering a tire problem.

Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) was the closest to the winner, ahead of his teammate Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing) and rookie Ryan Blaney (Wood Brothers Racing) who achieved his best result on an oval without a restrictor plate.

Several contenders for victory were involved in an accident with Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing), Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing), Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano (Team Penske).
