Nascar – Las Vegas will host two races in 2018

Speedway Motorsports Inc., which owns Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Nevada) and New Hampshire Motor Speedway, will make an adjustment to the schedule for the Nascar. The oval of the city of the game will host Nascar twice in 2018 at the expense of New Hampshire which will give up its meeting usually organized in September but which will keep a meeting in July.

Nascar organizers approved the change but did not confirm whether the second Las Vegas race would include the Chase.

“The New Hampshire race will continue to be contested in the summer and we expect it to attract even more people, commented Marcus Smith, director of Speedway Motorsports Inc. It's nothing unusual to only have one event per year on an oval and we think it will be positive for the sport to travel to the entertainment capital of the world in the fall. »

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway seems to be having difficulty bringing together the partners necessary for the organization of the two events since one of the two races does not yet have a title sponsor this year as is usually the case with Nascar events.
