Nascar – Logano secures his place in the final in Phoenix

Joey Logano (Team Penske) will be able to aim for a first title in Nascar Sprint Cup during the final played this weekend in Homestead-Miami (Florida). The driver of the No. 22 Ford won his ticket by winning the Can-Am 500 held yesterday at the Phoenix International Raceway (Arizona) after winning ahead of Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing). With his second place, the reigning champion will also be a contender for the coronation during the last race of the season.

It's the end of the road for the Stewart drivers-Haas Racing, Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch. The 2014 champion was doomed to success due to his delay and was only able to take 4th place behind Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing). As for the 2004 champion, he could only complete the top five.
