Nascar – Martin on pole at Dover ahead of Johnson

Mark Martin (Martin Truex Jr) signe la pole sur l’ovale de Dover pour seulement cinq millièmes d’avance sur Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports). Si le vétéran au volant de la Toyota n°55 signe une nouvelle pole, il faudra surtout se méfier de la Chevrolet n°48 particulièrement performante en ce moment après le mauvais début de saison de l’ancien champion de la discipline. Ryan Newman (Stewart-Haas Racing) places his No. 39 Chevrolet in third place ahead of Clint Bowyer (Michael Waltrip Racing) and Matt Kenseth (Roush Fenway Racing).

Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing) will start sixth ahead of Greg Biffle (Roush Fenway Racing) and the two Busch brothers, with the #18 Toyota of Kyle (Joe Gibbs Racing) ahead of the #51 Chevrolet of Kurt (Phoenix Racing) . Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) completes the top ten ahead of Joey Logano (Joe Gibbs Racing) and Aric Almirola (Richard Petty Motorsports). Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports), last winner in Charlotte, will start from 13th place. Juan-Pablo Montoya (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing) continues to sink with a distant 31st position.
