Nascar – Michael Annett joins Tommy Baldwin in 2014

Michael Annett will make his Sprint Cup debut next year when he joins Tommy Baldwin Racing in the No. 7 Chevrolet SS where he will replace Dave Blaney. It will be a homecoming for the future rookie who made his debut in Nascar within Bill Davis Racing which evolved under the tutelage of Tommy Baldwin. After winning twice in Arca, the 27-year-old American began his journey in the national series in 2008 and finished tenth in the Nationwide for his first full season the following year.

Michael Annett continued to compete in the second series with Germain Racing, before joining Richard Petty Motorsports last season where he finished in fifth position in the Championship. “We have continued to improve since we arrived in the Sprint Cup five years ago. This is our next step and we believe in Michael's potential.", commented the owner of the eponymous team who is also delighted to welcome the sponsor Pilot Flying J integrated into the contract.
