Nascar – Toyota unveils its new Camry

In 2016, Toyota had ended Chevrolet's domination of the Manufacturers' championship, by pocketing its first title in the premier series of the Nascar since its debut in 2007. For 2017, the Japanese brand will line up a revised version of its Camry, based on the road model.

The new Camry will take over from the previous version, which appeared in 2015. The teams that field the Toyota in racing, notably Joe Gibbs Racing and Furniture Row, were involved very early in the development, led by TRD and Calty Design Research. The main developments focus in particular on the front part of the car.

The new Toyota Camry will be on track from February 18 at the Daytona Clash in Florida, before the championship opens at the Daytona 500 on February 26.
