Nascar – Truex Jr breaks records at the Coca-Cola 600

With 392 laps led out of 400 possible, a new record on the Coca-Cola 600, the domination of Martin Truex Jr. on the longest event of the season Nascar Sprint Cup Series was almost complete. The pilot of the Furniture Row Racing pocketed his first success of the year on the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte (North Carolina) and offers himself an almost assured ticket for the Chase at the end of the championship.

The resident of the Toyota n°78 is ahead of Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing – Chevrolet), Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet) while Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing – Toyota) and Brad Keselowski (Team Penske – Ford) complete the top 5.
