Why is Joey Logano unloved?

Final of the NASCAR Cup Series, November 10. When Joey Logano crossed the finish line as the winner on the Phoenix (Arizona) oval, the Team Penske driver had just written his legend a little more in the history of the premier stock car category in the United States, by winning a third title. Overjoyed, he did his lap of honor, launched into a few burnouts, and brought his yellow Ford Mustang bearing the number 22 to a halt. The Middletown (Connecticut) native celebrated this victory that was uncontested. Will he be applauded as his performance deserves? No. Boos could be heard from the stands, thumbs down were waved, and testified to the lack of popularity he enjoyed.
