Racecar – Ben Kennedy as a symbol

Ben Kennedy started from seventh on the Michelin 100 grid contested at the Tours Speedway, but the nephew of Brian France let his genes speak and gradually moved up the positions in the standings to take the lead of the race on lap 50. On a track soaked by a storm just before the race, the great-grandson of Bill France Sr, the creator of the Nascar, was able to maintain his advantageous position until the finish line despite several interruptions in the race. “It's incredible because it's my first time on Victory Lane in a Nascar discipline. I had everything to discover by coming here. The car, the circuit, and the tires! The competition is very close and the drivers are of a very high level. That makes this victory even sweeter. The Euro-Racecar did a very good job. The atmosphere is great and the Nascar spirit is totally respected. It really makes me want to come back. »

The winner won ahead of Dimitri Enjalbert, who started on slick tires, and Romain Thiévain, who was overtaken in a rough manner by the No. 33. Antoine Lioen and Yann Zimmer complete the top five ahead of Romain Fournillier who took pole for this first race. Ander Vilarino, the Championship leader, takes eighth place behind Bruno Cosin. Yvan Muller finished in 17th place, 15 laps behind the winner. Carole Perrin finished in 12th position but her best lap in the race will allow her to start on pole tomorrow alongside Romain Ianetta.
