Racecar: Vilarino and Ianetta master Spa

After showing himself as the best contender for the title at Nogaro and Brands Hatch, Ander Vilarino (TFT? Banco Santander) went for his fourth victory in five races during the Sprint event held yesterday at Spa-Francorchamps. The Spaniard did not steal his victory since he also achieved pole and the best lap in the race. The winner won ahead of Romain Thiévin (Still Racing-Exotics Racing) and Carole Perrin (Autosport 42). “An incredible start to the season”, he commented. " It is a dream. This victory is not the best because I stayed in the lead from start to finish. During the previous events, I had to try to get there by overtaking. Not this time. The car was simply perfect. »

Ander Vilarino was hoping to achieve a fifth success in the race Endurance, but the leader of the Championship had to bow to Romain Ianetta (Orhès Compétition) who made a splendid start from fourth place on the grid. The latter did not have an easy race however since the Spaniard constantly threatened him only to fail by only six tenths at the checkered flag. He still had a good performance in the Championship since Romain Thiévin only took tenth place after being the victim of contact in the first lap. Javier Villa (Gonneau Racing) completes the podium by finishing first Junior.
