Trackhouse Racing reveals Shane van Gisbergen's 2024 program

Shane van Gisbergen is set on his future. After years spent racing in Supercars, the New Zealander is preparing to make the big leap to the United States like his compatriot Scott McLaughlin, entered in IndyCar since 2021.

If he caused a sensation in 2023 during his rare appearances in NASCAR Cup Series, like his victory in Chicago for his first race in the discipline, the Kiwi will mainly shine in the Xfinity Series next year, the antechamber of the highest category of Stock Car in the country of 'Uncle Sam, after signing up with Trackhouse Racing.

Thus, Shane van Gisbergen will compete for the entire Xfinity Series season behind the wheel of Kaulig Racing's No. 97 Chevrolet Camaro in WeatherTech colors. At the same time, SvG will compete in 6 Cup Series rounds, three on ovals and three others on road, a type of circuit on which it should also be a real threat, as evidenced by its triumph in Chicago last August.

The races affected are: COTA (March 24, road), Talladega (April 21, oval), Charlotte (May 26, oval), Chicago (July 7, urban), Watkins Glen (September 15, road) and Las Vegas (20 October, oval)
