Double blow for Reddick! During an arrival once again decided by an overtime procedure (where the NASCAR adds laps in order to increase the chances of the race finishing under a green flag), the driver Toyota won for the second time this season, and now takes the lead in the general classification, two races from the end of the regular season. The leader of the championship after 26 races offers himself additional bonus points for the playoffs, which can sometimes make the difference between a place in the Final Four in Phoenix, or not.

Former championship leader Kyle Larson (Hendrick Motorsports) had a complicated Monday. While he led 41 laps, he was forced to retire on lap 116 when he lost control of his Chevrolet, causing a chain reaction notably involving Bubba Wallace (23XI Racing). The driver of the No. 23 had notably led the race before his interruption yesterday, but any chance of a good result vanished at that moment, and he finds himself for the moment outside the top 16, qualifying for the playoffs.

The most impressive incident of the event undoubtedly occurred on the 136th lap of the event, when Corey LaJoie (Spire Motorsports) rolled on the back straight. LaJoie lightly struck the rear of Noah Gragson's Ford (Stewart-Haas Racing) before his Chevrolet takes off into the air. After sliding almost the entire back straight on its roof, the No. 7 landed on its wheels after additional rolls in the grass. The American was not injured in the accident.

Next meeting at the end of the week at Daytona, during an event which always promises, between high speeds, races in packs, and drivers desperate to qualify for the playoffs...
