A new Chevrolet Camaro in 2020

Chevrolet has revealed the lines of the new Camaro ZL1 1LE which will replace the ZL1 model in Nascar Cup Series in 2020. The current version of the Camaro has been in effect since last year after replacing the SS model.

The Detroit manufacturer developed its new mount with the greatest care, working in particular in the wind tunnel with reduced and real-scale models, as well as through CFD calculations. The engineers hope to optimize the aerodynamics while respecting the lines of the production version as much as possible.

This new development goes beyond simple cosmetic concerns. The Bow Tie brand had the greatest difficulty in comparing with Toyota and Ford since its move to the Camaro ZL1 and it is only this year that it is reaping the fruits of its labor with two drivers still able to be titled, Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott. Chevrolet has won 7 victories in 33 races this season.
