Nicki Thiim returns to R-Motorsport at Monza and Silverstone

Called in as replacement by Nelson Piquet at Jaguar Racing, Alex lynn will have to deal with a clash of dates between the Formula E and the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup at the GT3 events at Monza and Silverstone. The Briton was initially scheduled to play on theAston Martin Vantage GT3 n°76 – R-Motorsport with Marvin Kirchhöfer and Jake Dennis, but will favor its program in Formula E.

Enough to force R-Motorsport to find a replacement for the 3 GP2014 Series champion. It was via its Instagram story, and with a little humorous reference, that the Swiss team spilled the beans on the identity of the driver called. Danish Nicki thiim, already present in the Blancpain program of the Saint-Gallen team in 2018, will therefore be back for the first two events of the Endurance Cup season.

The other car of the structure led by Dr Florian Kamelger will remain entrusted to the trio Matthieu Vaxivière – Maxime Martin – Matt Parry.
