No qualifying at Martinsville
Jeff Gordon will start ahead of Kurt Busch, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards and Casey Kahne.
On the other hand, Sterling Marlin, Tony Raines, Dennis Setzer and Derrike Cope were unable to defend their chance and did not qualify.
The weather forecast is much more optimistic for tomorrow with partly cloudy skies, 20°C and only a 20% chance of rain.
