PCCF – Barcelona: Klein and Ghiretti share the poles!

At the end of thirty minutes of qualifying, Marvin Klein (TFT Racing) took pole position for the C1. In C2, Alessandro Ghiretti (Martinet by Alméras) will discover the joys of starting from the highest place on the grid.

PCCF – Barcelona: Klein and Ghiretti share the poles!

The first qualifying session of the 2023 season will have kept all its promises. Arriving during the off-season, Marvin Klein offers the first pole position to the TFT Racing team. The double champion moved to the top of the rankings thanks to a time of 1'43″768. The wearer of No. 1 is ahead of Alessandro Ghiretti (Martinet by Alméras) by less than a tenth (+0″067). Leader during free practice, Dorian Boccolacci (CLRT) will start from the second row, in third position (+0″342). The Junior Porsche France 2023, Mathys Jaubert (TFT Racing), finishes fourth and first rookie. Benjamin Paque (CLRT) completes the top-5.

In C2, a big first for Alessandro Ghiretti! The Martinet by Alméras driver will start at the top of the grid, from first position. The 2021 Junior Porsche France will have to contain his former teammate, Dorian Boccolacci (CLRT), whom he beat by almost a tenth and a half. Marvin Klein (TFT Racing), third, also finds his teammate from last season, Benjamin Paque (CLRT), fourth and first rookie. Louis Rousset (CLRT) is fifth.

In Pro-Am, Marc Guillot (Herrero Racing) also took his first pole position for his PCCF debut. His two pursuers are the same as this Friday, namely Bashar Mardini (Tsunami RT) and Jérôme Boullery (Racing Technology). In C2, the Herrero Racing resident finds himself third. Pole goes to the Canadian from Tsunami RT.

In the Am category, Ludovic Loeul secures the two poles even though it is also his first weekend in the Cup France. The Porsche Lorient Racing driver is ahead of Sébastien Poisson (ABM), by almost three tenths, and Gilles Colombani (Team Clairet Sport). The start of Race 1 will be given at 16:30 p.m. on the Barcelona track.
