The Porsche Carrera Cup France begins its season under the Catalan sun. 2025 is no exception, with a highly anticipated first round on the Barcelona circuit. Alongside the European Championship Le Mans Series, 20 drivers will compete in Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars. The first two races of the season are an ideal opportunity to discover the strengths of the field.
Last year's rookie champion, Marcus Amand (CLRT Schumacher) will be one of the names to watch, like the one who won the Carrera Cup Italy in 2024: Keagan Masters (TFT Racing). Although he will not be able to participate in the entire season, Marvin Klein will want to take the ABM team to the top step of the podium.
Louis Perrot (Schumacher CLRT), Benjamin Paque (TFT Racing), Hugo Chevalier (Debard Automobiles by Racetivity), Paul Cauhaupé (ABM) and Alexander Reimann (EST1) are also candidates for victory. Held up by his program in ELMS, Mathys Jaubert leaves his seat to the Junior Porsche Motorsport 2025, Théo Oeverhaus, within Martinet by Alméras.
Rookies, including PCCF 2025 Junior Karen Gaillard (Schumacher CLRT), will also be looking to make a good impression on their championship debut. In Pro-Am and Am, the outcome of the races is also uncertain.
