PCCF – Barcelona: Théo Oeverhaus opens his victory tally

• First race in the PCCF and first victory for Théo Oeverhaus! Starting from pole, the Martinet by Alméras driver managed his race perfectly despite pressure from Marvin Klein. ABM saw two of its cars reach the podium, with Paul Cauhaupé taking third place.
• At the start, Théo Oeverhaus held on to his pole position. Behind him, Marcus Amand had to go through the gravel trap to avoid hitting another opponent. The Finn had already gained a few positions on momentum as the lights went out.
• On the first lap, Marvin Klein (ABM) put pressure on the leader. In the pack, Jérôme Boullery (Racing Technology) tried to pass the rivals in front of him, but Benjamin Paque (TFT Racing) was on the inside. The two touched, and the Pro-Am driver ended up in the gravel, forcing the safety car onto the track.
• Despite the small gaps at the finish, Marvin Klein was rarely able to catch up with the leader. Théo Oeverhaus was on his way to winning the first race of his PCCF career. Third, Paul Cauhaupé was off to a very good start to his second season in the French Cup.
• Fifth overall, Chester Kieffer (CLRT Schumacher) achieved his first success among the rookies. The Luxembourger finished ahead of Enzo Joulié (Martinet by Alméras) and Mathys Cappuccio (ABM). Joran Leneutre (Racing Technology) and Karen Gaillard, after a long defense against Benjamin Paque (TFT Racing), finished in the top-5.
• In Pro-Am, following the retirement of Jérôme Boullery (Racing Technology), Marc Guillot managed his race perfectly. The ABM rider won once again in Barcelona. Reigning Am Champion Cyril Caillo (Racing Technology) finished second.
• In the Am class, the battle was tight between the three drivers in the category. On the penultimate lap, Jordan Boisson (TFT Racing) was hit by Jean-Philippe Gambaro (ABM) at the first corner. Despite a five-second penalty for track limits violations, Eric Debard (Debard Automobiles by Racetivity) won Race 1.
• Race 2 will start this Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.
