PCCF – Dijon: Victory day for Marcus Amand?

Among the highlights that led Marcus Amand to the rookie title in 2024, the Dijon round is one of the key stages. Last September, at Dijon-Prenois, the CLRT rider Schumacher had won both races in his category. The Finn had taken a good lead in the championship over his rivals, Paul Cauhaupé and Victor Bernier. I was well back in the race. I like this circuit and I think you have to enjoy it to be fast. The track is quite complicated, you have to be confident if you want to perform well."

Marcus Amand is coming off a mixed first weekend in Barcelona. Relegated for technical non-compliance during qualifying, he had to start from the back of the grid instead of the front row. I saved the day. We'll have to fight hard in Dijon, but I'm confident. The car is great, and I feel good in it. Mathys (Jaubert) and Louis (Perrot) They won't make it easy for me, but I'm ready."

Although his free practice saw him far from the top of the table, CLRT driver Schumacher is not worried: " Friday's sessions were a bit difficult because we didn't have good tires. But we tested a lot on Thursday and the pace was there."

Looking for his first overall win in the championship, the number 99 rider hopes to end the wait this weekend. I'll do everything I can to get her. It's important to do well in qualifying because the track is narrow and overtaking isn't easy." The path that could lead him to victory begins in the very important qualifying session, this Saturday at 12:00.
