Jordan, how do you feel after your first victory?
It's really a pleasure! Winning a race in the French Cup is good for you, especially for your morale. It's also a great reward for the team because we did everything we could to achieve this victory. We're very happy.
Were you looking forward to it this weekend?
Not necessarily, because the meeting here in 2024 wasn't great. In the race, I struggled on this circuit. Dijon isn't one of my favorite tracks. I thought I'd win more in Barcelona, but that didn't happen.
How did you experience this race?
Physically, it was difficult because we do a lot of laps, compared to other tracks. I didn't make things easy for myself by getting off to a bad start. I moved up to first place in the first three laps. When I saw that there were fifteen minutes left, I knew I had done half the job. In the last eight minutes, I had to push myself and stay focused. I worked hard on this, especially with my coach at WinWin Performance. I was ready to go all the way without making any mistakes.
The goal will be to repeat tomorrow?
Of course, but I'm not putting any pressure on myself. We'll start again in the same order as today. I'll do everything I can to win again.
