Marvin Klein intends to retain his title. The CLRT driver did not take half measures during qualifying by taking both pole positions. The 2021 champion dominated from start to finish the last qualifying session of the season, contested on the Paul Ricard circuit. In 2'04″711, the No. 99 is ahead of Dorian Boccolacci (Martinet by Alméras) by 114 thousandths.

Very close to securing a front row, Bastian Buus (Allied Racing) is ultimately only third, 16 thousandths behind the driver in front of him. Alessandro Ghiretti (Martinet by Alméras) will occupy the second row alongside him. The Junior Porsche France 2022, Mathieu Martins (Martinet by Alméras) ranks 8th just ahead of Nicolas Ciamin (Racing Technology), very well placed for his first Cup qualification.

For race 2, Marvin Klein will again be in front of Dorian Boccolacci. The Varois was the only one to complete two laps under 2'05. The CLRT driver therefore pockets the two points at stake during qualifying, which virtually increases his lead to 16 points, over his rival from Martinet by Alméras. Alessandro Ghiretti gains a place in Sunday's race and will start in third position.

In the Pro-Am, Jérôme Boullery (Racing Technology) also took the two pole positions. The 2021 vice-champion will have to finish the race this evening to validate the acquisition of his title. He is ahead of Clément Mateu (CLRT), in great difficulty this Friday but more comfortable during this session. Sylvain Noël (Racing Technology) will start 3rd in C1 and second in C2.

Among the Ams, Sébastien Dussolliet (ABM) continues to impress. The ABM driver is a double pole-sitter but above all finishes in a very good 13th place overall. His rival Sébastien Poisson (ABM) is second in the category ahead of Karim Ajlani (ABM). The first race of the weekend will take place at night from 19:15 p.m.
