Rafael Villanueva continues his adventure with Martinet by Alméras. Already present in Valencia, the Spaniard is once again entered in the PCCF this weekend during the final at the Paul Ricard circuit.

You are back with the Martinet by Alméras team for a second consecutive round. How is your integration into the team going?

He helps me a lot so I'm very happy to be here. After the end of the 2021 season in the GT4 European Series, I had not driven any more. Thanks to their experience, I can progress and learn with this car. I have always followed the results of this championship so I am happy to participate in it. I hope to be there again next year.

You started at home during the Valencia meeting. What were your first sensations in PCCF?

Starting a new chapter of my career in my country is bound to be a special moment. The weekend was difficult with the weather conditions and the discovery of the car. It was nevertheless a very nice experience.

The Paul Ricard circuit is not unknown to you because you have already been there. How do you view this route?

Rouler ici en Porsche est complètement différent de ce que j’avais connu dans d’autres catégories. Le fait de connaître la piste va me permettre de me concentrer sur l’apprentissage de la voiture. C’est un beau circuit où j’avais hâte de revenir.

What will your goals be?

Understanding the specificities of my Porsche Cup even better always remains the first goal. I wasn't too far from the top-10 in Valencia so I hope to get there this weekend. And why not even higher!
