PCCF – Mugello: Jaubert starts strong

- For the first time since 2013, the Porsche Carrera Cup France returned to the Mugello circuit this Friday. In 1'52″123, the fastest man of the morning was called Mathys Jaubert. The Martinet by Alméras driver was 326 thousandths ahead of his closest pursuer. The 2023 PCCF Junior has no choice, he must have a perfect weekend to hope to delay Alessandro Ghiretti's coronation.
- The latter finished second. The resident of Schumacher CLRT sets a best time in 1'52″452. In a final effort, Benjamin Paque (TFT Racing) takes third place. The Belgian is less than a tenth behind Alessandro Ghiretti. First rookie, Marcus Amand (Schumacher CLRT) is fourth. Paul Cauhaupé (CLRT Schumacher) closes the top-5 (+0.629).
- Continuing his momentum from Dijon, Marc Guillot finished as the leader in Pro-Am. The ABM resident was 246 thousandths ahead of Jérôme Boullery (Racing Technology). Back at the wheel of ABM's No. 66, Sébastien Poisson took third position.
- Cyril Caillo (Racing Technology) leads the Am category. Jean-Philippe Gambaro (CLRT Schumacher) and Eric Debard (Debard Automobiles by Racetivity) are in the top-3. Free Practice 2 will take place this Friday at 15:30 p.m.
