This Saturday at Mugello, Mathys Jaubert ticked a new box in PCCF: taking a pole position. The Martinet by Alméras driver did even better by winning two. Very competitive since the start of the weekend, the Junior PCCF 2023 confirmed at the best of times: " I am super happy. The team's work was very good. As usual in qualifying our car was OK. We still have to improve it in the race, our weak point in the last rounds. »

At the start, the Varois will have Florian Latorre (ABM) alongside him on the front row. He will not see the championship leader in his rearview mirrors because Alessandro Ghiretti had a more difficult session. The Junior Porsche Motorsport 2024 will only be sixth and will have to work hard to get back to the front. The goal is obviously to create a big gap from the start to have the maximum lead over Alessandro., reveals the poleman. I don't want to focus only on him. Marcus Amand (Schumacher CLRT) is very fast. Florian Latorre is still a candidate for victory. »

Currently second in the championship, the Martinet by Alméras driver is relegated to 62 points behind the leader. This very good qualification, coupled with an average result from his rival, does not give him false hopes with regard to the title: " It's a mission that remains very complicated. We'll see race after race. I'm focused on today's and I have the ambition to win it. »
