  • Victor Bernier ideally launches the second meeting of the season. In 1'57″481, the Martinet by Alméras rider took the lead in the first free practice session of the weekend. On the Paul Ricard track, where the drivers do not use the North chicane, the two-time rookie winner from Barcelona is ahead of the overall leader, Alessandro Ghiretti (Schumacher CLRT). The Junior Porsche Motorsport 2024 is relegated to 0.357.
  • Paul Cauhaupé completes the top-3. CLRT rookie Schumacher clocked 1'58″049, more than five tenths off the reference time. Driving at Le Castellet is obviously special for the Junior Porsche Carrera Cup France 2024 since it was in sector 1 of the Var track that he won the selection at the end of last year. Louis Perrot (CLRT Schumacher) and Benjamin Paque (TFT Racing) are present in the top-5.
  • The other Martinet by Alméras are more discreet. Twice on the podium in Catalonia, Mathys Jaubert is sixth at 0.707. Marlon Hernandez and Louis Rousset come next. Fernando Monje finished tenth.
  • In Pro-Am, Jérôme Boullery (Racing Technology) is ahead of Marc Guillot (ABM) by almost six tenths. Jérémie Lessoudier (TFT Racing) is third. Jean-Philippe Gambaro (Schumacher CLRT) dominates the AM category. Cyril Caillo (Racing Technology) and Eric Debard (Debard Automobiles by Racetivity) are in ambush.
  • Free Practice 2 can be followed this afternoon, from 15:45 p.m.
