Dorian Boccolacci was smiling again after qualifying for the second round of the PCCF. Author of the two pole positions on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the Martinet by Alméras driver was satisfied with his session: “ The result is really positive. We've been improving little by little since the start of the weekend and it's paying off. Last year I had my two fastest times taken away due to track limits. Today, I managed well and I'm starting in the lead!»

If the driver of the No. 19 had achieved the second best mark in the field, he owes his C1 pole position to the downgrading of his teammate Alessandro Ghiretti, whose lap was canceled for non-compliance with track limits. “ I'm happy for me but disappointed for him, he regretted. His trick was very good, I could have done the same but I didn't succeed. This proves that I still have room to spare.»

Although he struggled against the race pace of the CLRT during the opening of the championship, Dorian Boccolacci is not worried. “ Our car is better than 3 weeks ago, at least in qualifying. I think the team's drivers feel better here. I'm going to start at the front, it's up to me to manage the pace. Our long relays worked well in free practice so I'm going to do my little leisurely race and we'll see if it goes well. »

See you at 15:25 p.m. to see if Dorian Boccolacci's C1 is really a walk in the park.
