PCCF – Zandvoort: Boccolacci and Martinet by Alméras lock the first row

In search of points, Dorian Boccolacci did the job this morning in qualifying. The Martinet by Alméras driver set the two best times of the session and will start in pole position for the C1 and C2. During this Saturday afternoon's race, the 2021 vice-champion will start just in front of his teammate Alessandro Ghiretti (Martinet by Alméras). With a time of 1'36″474, the Junior Porsche France 2020 fails 233 thousandths from pole. Even more frustrating in C2 where the No. 22 fails by 0″001 behind Dorian Boccolacci (1’36″708).

Invited this weekend, Simone Iaquinta (Dinamic Motorsport) finished in a good 3rd position. More difficult qualification for the reigning champion. Marvin Klein had his worst session of the year and will start 4th in both races. The CLRT driver concedes 0″479 on Dorian Boccolacci. Louis Perrot (TFT Racing) finished in a good 5th place. Accidented yesterday, Mathieu Martins (Pierre Martinet by Alméras) entered the top 10 (+1″528).

The session was stopped twice. 19 minutes from time, Karim Ajlani goes off the track at T11. The ABM driver, replacing Victor Blugeon, got off to a bad start in qualifying with this passage in the gravel trap but was able to leave to finish the session. In the final moments, Clément Mateu (CLRT) found himself stuck at the exit of turn 7. The red flag returned and ended the session.

In the Pro-Am, Bashar Mardini (Tsunami RT) is just a tenth ahead of the category leader, Jérôme Boullery (Racing Technology). Sylvain Noel (Racing Technology) ranks 3rd. Jérôme Boullery reverses the first row of the C2 since it is he who will take pole position.

In Am, Sébastien Dussolliet and Sébastien Poisson achieved a solid qualification. The two ABM drivers ranked 14th and 15th respectively ahead of some Pro-Ams. Patrick Charlaix (TFT Racing) is 3rd. The C2's grille is identical in this category.

The start of the C1 will be given at 15:35 p.m. this Saturday.
