Dorian Boccolacci did not tremble! The Martinet by Alméras driver converted his pole position into victory after managing the start very well. He is ahead of Alessandro Ghiretti and Simone Iaquinta. The Cannes player took advantage of the abandonment of Marvin Klein to return to the championship.

When the lights went out, Alessandro Ghiretti made a better start than Dorian Boccolacci and dived inside. But the pole sitter maintains more speed on the outside and keeps control of the race. Behind, the positions are unchanged, Simone Iaquinta (Dinamic Motorsport) and Marvin Klein (CLRT) ahead of Louis Perrot (TFT Racing). The departure went smoothly since no incident was reported.

Dans le 2e tour de course, un cône vient se glisser sous l’avant de la voiture de Mathieu Martins (Martinet by Alméras), perturbant la course du Junior Porsche France 2022.

22 minutes from time, Marvin Klein (CLRT) tries to pass Simone Iaquinta but the Italian widens the trajectory. The reigning champion found himself stuck and Louis Perrot (TFT Racing) took the opportunity to steal 4th place from him, at the end of a wheel-to-wheel battle which lasted several turns. Championship leader Marvin Klein passes Louis Perrot again in T10 with 20 minutes remaining in the race after diving inside.

At the head of the peloton, Dorian Boccolacci did not widen the gap on Alessandro Ghiretti and the Cannes native made a few errors which allowed his teammate to stay under second. In 3rd position, Marvin Klein comes back like a cannonball on Simone Iaquinta. The CLRT driver puts pressure on his Dinamic Motorsport counterpart.

At mid-race, Patrick Charlaix (TFT Racing) was stopped a few moments just before the banking of T3 but was able to restart.

Bashar Mardini (Tsunami RT), leader of the Pro-Am category, goes off on his own at turn 11 and spoils his chances of getting on the top step of the podium. The yellow flag is waved in sector 3 because the car is stuck in the gravel trap. The safety car came out 8'30 from the end of the race while Marvin Klein (CLRT) seemed to have the best position to overtake Simone Iaquinta.

At the restart, Alessandro Ghiretti (Martinet by Alméras) tried to attack his teammate from the outside but he defended perfectly. The battle benefits Simone Iaquinta and Marvin Klein who are getting closer. On the following straight, the CLRT driver tries to overtake the Italian, the two touch after the Dinamic Motorsport driver shifts under braking. The CLRT driver gives up and loses big in the championship with this 0 point. Louis Perrot (TFT Racing) also crashed in the first corner of the last lap and lost his good 4th place. Dorian Boccolacci quietly won the race ahead of Alessandro Ghiretti and Simone Iaquinta.

In Pro-Am, Sylvain Noel won after his Racing Technology teammate, Jérôme Boullery, missed his last sector. He finished 2nd in the category ahead of Clément Mateu (CLRT). Victory in the Am category for Sébastien Dussolliet (ABM) ahead of Sébastien Poisson (ABM) and Patrick Charlaix (TFT Racing).

Race 2 will take place at 11:35 a.m. this Sunday morning.
