Pla, Beaubelique and Ricci united at AKKA-ASP

AKKA-ASP has confirmed that Jim Pla will compete in the entire 2019 Blancpain GT Series season, racing in Pro-Am in the Endurance Cup with Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Mauro Ricci. The latter will alternate to support Pla in World Challenge Europe.

Jérôme Policand intended to promote Jim Pla on the GT3 scene in 2019, it is now a done deal. The boss ofAKKA-ASP fera confiance à l’ancien pensionnaire de la Porsche Carrera Cup France pour évoluer sur l’une de ses Mercedes-AMG GT3 in Blancpain GT Series in Pro-Am category.

Pla will be supported in Endurance Cup by his teammate FFSAGT 2018 Jean-Luc Beaubelique as well as Mauro Ricci, used to the Rabastens structure. Beaubelique and Ricci will take turns on the World Challenge Europe stage (former Sprint Cup), to support Jim Pla, still in Pro-Am.

The trio will be lined up during pre-season testing at Paul Ricard on March 13 and 14.
