First pole for the Chevrolet Cruze

“The team has worked very hard on the Cruze since Mexico,” explains Robert Huff. “There is real progress in the general behavior of the car. We are nevertheless surprised to be ahead of the Seats which were very competitive during free practice. I am very happy to be on pole. I have often been comfortable on urban circuits. I hope this will continue! »

Jordi Gene (Seat), Nicolas Larini (Chevrolet) and Tiago Monteiro (Seat) will line up on the third row. First BMW driver, independent Franz Engstler placed seventh ahead of Jorg Muller.
