In the first race of the weekend, held over 45 minutes, Victor Blugeon quickly asserted his dominance. At the wheel of the Porsche No. 74, he wins right from the start of the season, with a little over nine seconds ahead of the poleman of this first contest, Frédéric Ancel.

The two men dominated qualifying this morning and confirmed it in the race, relegating third-placed Alexandre Rasse to fifteen seconds behind, and Éric Debard to nearly thirty seconds. Éric Trémoulet secured fifth position at the end of this first race of a weekend that is always special at Nogaro, as it will conclude this Easter Monday.

Of the 18 competitors who started Race 1, only seven finished on the leader's lap, a further indication of the blistering pace set by Victor Blugeon at the front of the pack. The second race of the weekend will take place this Monday, starting at 10:40 AM.
