Seat could withdraw

Reigning world manufacturer champion, Seat could withdraw from the World Touring Car Championship at the end of the 2009 season. This is in any case what Rickard Rydell suggests, who has already indicated that he will not continue not with the Spanish team.

If nothing has been decided at the moment concerning the team, one thing seems certain: Oreca, which involves the Leons of Yvan Muller and Tiago Monteiro, will stop its involvement in the discipline at the end of the season.

« The Seat team has not yet decided what it will do next season “, declared the Swede in comments reported by TouringCarTimes. “ For the moment, it's not very good but nothing is confirmed. »

« The company is losing money. There is no manufacturer that is making money and there are certainly other manufacturers that are suffering more than Seat but it is quite gloomy for the moment. Rydell continued.
