Seat would leave the WTCC

The announcement could come this week: Seat will leave the WTCC. After thirty victories, two constructors' titles (2008 and 2009) and two drivers' titles (Muller and Tarquini) in five seasons, the Spanish manufacturer has reportedly made the decision not to continue its involvement.

Seat would leave the WTCC

If it is not yet certain that no Leon will be present for the opening of the 2010 season, the Spanish manufacturer should quickly announce the withdrawal of its "official" cars.

This decision would come a few weeks after the announcement of the end of the collaboration with the French structure Oreca which hired two Leon TDIs of Yvan Muller and Tiago Monteiro.

Rickard Rydell had already announced his intention to leave the team and Yvan Muller has already signed with Chevrolet. It remains to be seen what reigning World Champion Gabriele Tarquini but also Jordi Gené and Tiago Monteiro will do while BMW will also reduce its presence in this championship.
