Sébastien Loeb: “It’s not just the WTCC”

Sébastien Loeb learned that he would not be taking part in 2016 with Citroën in the WTCC just before the meeting in Buriram (Thailand) on November 1, a little more than two weeks before the manufacturer's announcement. The Alsatian immediately admitted that he was surprised by the choice of the French brand, even if he will remain a driver of the PSA group since he will officially defend the colors of Peugeot in the Dakar.

“I actually wanted to continue. I was a little disappointed because we had said more or less verbally that this was a three-year program... But there you have it, there are other exciting things to do, there are no It's not just the WTCC, so it's not a big deal. Especially since it’s not the most interesting discipline I’ve taken part in in my career either…”, declared Sébastien Loeb to AUTOhebdo.
