The schedule for the 2010 Sprint Cup Series season was released Tuesday. Several changes should be noted.

Sprint Cup: The calendar revealed

The 2010 Sprint Cup season begins Feb. 6 and ends Nov. 21 when it races at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Several changes should be noted. Qualifying for the Daytona 500 will take place on February 6, the same day as the Budweiser Shootout. Whereas previously, the qualifications were held the day following the Shootout.

Then, the first race at Dover will take place on May 16 before the All-Star Race and the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte while the event generally took place afterwards. Then, the first race in Phoenix will be held on April 10 and that in Texas will take place on April 18. Previously, the Texas race was held first in April.
