Stewart wins at Daytona

Kyle Busch thought he had done the hardest part. By overtaking Tony Stewart shortly before the white flag, the driver Toyota hoped to achieve victory on the Daytona oval. But that was without counting on Stewart?s attack in the last corner.

The latter thus approached the left rear of Busch's car to force it to stay at the bottom of the track. Stewart then took the opportunity to suddenly climb back up. Busch tried to block him, in vain. His car hit the left front of the number 14 Chevrolet and went into the wall.

Stewart could fly to his second victory of the season, the 35th of his career. Behind, the clashes multiplied. Jimmie Johnson, however, managed to grab second place followed by Denny Hamlin. Carl Edwards and Kurt Busch complete the Top 5.
