Follow the 9 Hours of Kyalami live on video

A last one before we go. The 9 Hours of Kyalami concludes this Saturday the 2020 season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, but also of international GT competitions in general.

Only 12 cars will compete for victory, but ten are officially entered by the manufacturers, which should make for a high-level battle. The challenge is first and foremost to achieve a prestigious victory for the second edition of the race in South Africa. Then, two titles are to be distributed.

Among manufacturers, Porsche seems to have taken off during the 24 Hours of Spa. His main opponent Mercedes is not present at Kyalami and Audi is 33 points behind. A difficult delay to make up for given the fact that with ten professional cars entered, it will be enough to finish to score points.

For the pilots, everything is open. The best placed, Laurens Vanthoor and Earl Bamber have 31 points with 25 left to distribute. The majority of competitors can therefore afford the title.
