Follow the launch of the 2019 season in Valencia live on video

The opening of the 2019 season of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series is held as usual in Valencia (Spain). Two races will be on the program this Saturday, April 13 and can be viewed live below. 

The premier category, Elite 1, will begin at 13:15 p.m. On his home turf, the Spaniard Ander Vilarino (Racing Engineering) presents himself as one of the strong men for victory after his morning pole position. It will be necessary to monitor beginners and renowned Jacques Villeneuve (Go Fas Racing) and Ellen Lohr (Dexwet DF1 Racing). These two rookies were discreet during testing. The Quebecer will start 16th and the German 29th.

The Béarnais Lucas Lasserre (Mishumotors) will start second ahead of outgoing champion Alon Day (Caal Racing). The second Frenchman is Frédéric Gabillon (RDV Compétition), seventh. Christophe Bouchut (Dexwet DF1 Racing) is 12th.

Race 1 of Elite 2 will take place at 16:45 p.m. Pole position was taken by Myatt Snider (Racing Engineering) ahead of Giorgio Maggi (Hendriks MS).
