The development version of the Hyundai i30 N TCR was on display this weekend on the Nürburgring circuit alongside a round of the ADAC TCR Germany. The car featured a new bodywork validated by the latest tests carried out at the Slovakiaring.
In addition, the i30 N TCR wore, for the first time, the Korean manufacturer's new colors with sky blue predominating over red lines and a darker Hyundai blue.
« This weekend represents a new milestone for the i30 N TCR project, comments Andrea Adamo, head of Hyundai's customer department. This car has been specifically designed to be sold and raced with customers, so it is crucial that it is visible at a major TCR event for our first on a circuit. »
The Korean manufacturer does not hide its ambitions to enter the ADAC TCR championship in 2018 with a customer team. The German championship is contested alongside the ADAC GT Masters and brings together nearly 40 drivers on the grid.
