Tuner JAS Motorsport has revealed the first images of the next Honda Civic which will compete in the TCR category from the 2018 season. The Italian manufacturer plans to sell 25 cars by next spring.
In the hands of Roberto Colciago, outgoing TCR Italy champion, the Honda completed several testing sessions at the Autodromo Tazio Nuvolari, near Milan (Italy) last weekend. “It is still too early to detail the behavior of the car, but the first impressions are positive”, explained the test pilot. “It is well balanced, the engine responds as it should and the gearbox as well as the aerodynamics have evolved in the right direction compared to the current version. »

The 2018 model is distinguished by a completely modified front end, giving the Honda a sedan appearance. The engineers started from the base of a Type R variation, the most radical available.
