TCR – Vernay wins at Spa

Jean-Karl Vernay (Volkswagen Golf) won Race 2 of the TCR International Series at Spa-Francorchamps, securing his first victory in the discipline after taking the lead over teammates Stefano Comini and Antti Buri who secured the treble for Leopard Racing .

Pepe Oriola (Seat Leon) returns to the top of the Drivers' standings after taking seventh place. The Spaniard is two points ahead of his teammate James Nash who beat him to the finish line. Gianni Morbidelli (Honda Civic) finds himself four points behind the new leader after retiring following a puncture.

The Peugeot 308 of Sébastien Loeb Racing finished outside the top ten again. Grégory Guilvert took 12th place ahead of his teammate Jimmy Clairet.
