As one of two of the main Audi Sport labeled teams in GT3, Team WRT and Team Land will have the difficult task of defending the interests of the brand with the rings during the final of the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge at the 9 Hours of Kyalami (21-23 november).
Vincent Vosse's team will field an R8 LMS GT3 Evo for the trio composed of South African Kelvin van der Linde and Belgians Dries Vanthoor and Frédéric Vervisch. The latter can still be titled among the drivers, he who is six points behind leader Maxi Buhk.
Dries Vanthoor will have to count on a misstep from the resident of Mercedes-AMG, the Belgian pointing at 21 from Buhk.
The second official R8 LMS GT3 Evo will be operated by Team Land, with a crew led by Christopher Mies, Markus Winkelhock and Christopher Haase. On this car, only Christopher Haase can mathematically still be crowned champion IGTC and thus succeed Tristan Vautier.
