Ningbo completes 2021 WTCR calendar

There was still an unknown factor in the calendar of the WTCR World Touring Car Cup for this 2021 campaign. If the championship were indeed to pass through China on November 6 and 7, it still remained to be defined which complex would host the Chinese meeting.

It is finally the Ningbo track, already visited between 2017 and 2019, which will serve as a showcase for the arrival of cars meeting TCR regulations in the Asian state. A circuit that smiled in 2019 on Yvan Muller, winner of two of the three races at the wheel of his Lynk&Co 03, with an additional third place in race 2.

Placed between the Korean round and an expected return to Macau, the Chinese trip obviously remains subject to the health situation linked to the coronavirus pandemic, which could still affect the program currently put in place by Eurosport Events.
