Tom Coronel returns with Audi and Comtoyou

Stainless Tom Coronel. At 48 years old, and for the 32nd time at the start of a motorsport campaign, the Batavian driver will remain involved at the high world level by taking part in the championship WTCR.

Still supported by DHL, the Dutchman will find theAudi RS 3 LMS, a brand new example however, which will be used by the Belgian team Comtoyou Racing. Coronel will thus support Frédéric Vervisch and Nathanaël Berthon in the structure, already formalized by the competition-client department of the firm with the rings.

“I remain the driver with the most races in this series, having competed in the European Championship since 2001, the World Touring Car Championship since 2005 and the WTCR since 2018, recalls Coronel.

Last year everything was going particularly well: I showed that I was still capable of competing for podiums and victories at this level. At mid-season I was second in the drivers' standings. Of course, I want to build on that foundation this season. »

Vervisch, Berthon and Coronel will be joined by a fourth driver whose identity will be revealed in the coming weeks.
