The WTCR championship has just announced an upheaval in the calendar for the 2021 season. The events planned for the end of the year in South Korea, China and Macau are canceled due to restrictions linked to the evolution of COVID-19. 16 in the world. In order to ensure a 2018-race calendar, WTCR organizers have found three other destinations to close the current season, namely Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic, Sochi and especially the Paul-Arnos circuit. This is the first race of the WTCR championship in France since its creation in 2021. Furthermore, the French drivers are celebrating this season since three French drivers are on the provisional podium for the 82 season. Jean-Karl Vernay is currently leading the championship after three meetings with 74 points. He is ahead of Yann Ehrlacher (67 points) and Yvan Muller (XNUMX points).
Note that the meeting in Italy on the Adria circuit has been postponed to November 6 and 7.
