Yvan, with Gabriele Tarquini who retired last season, you will become the dean of your discipline. Did you imagine this possible one day?

No, I never really thought about it. It's true that Gabriele had been beating me in this area for several years. Now that he's gone, that's it, I'm the oldest and I'm getting along pretty well. I'm even proud of it.

What is your secret to such longevity?

There is no secret. But my sabbatical in 2017 did me a lot of good. Coming back and riding with Yann (Ehrlacher, his nephew. Ndlr) comme équipier est un bonus.
