Zengo Motorsport with two cars

Zengo Motorsport will enter the WTCR with two cars this year. The Hungarian structure is currently in discussions with Cupra in order to be able to race with the new Leon Competicion TCRs.

Bence Boldizs is the first driver confirmed by the team. The 22-year-old Hungarian began his motorsport career with the Hankook Racer Cup contested on Suzuki Swifts. He won several victories there before turning last year to Rallycross where he finished runner-up in his national championship.

“This is a big step for me, recognized Bence Boldizs, because the Suzuki had 100hp while a TCR car has 360. My objective for the first races will be to learn as much as possible because we are in a learning phase. The results will not be the most important. I know the Hungaroring and the Slovakiaring, but I have never ridden on the other circuits. »

The management of Zengo Motorsport has clarified that it is in the process of signing with “a talented and experienced driver who will amaze the Hungarian public”, indicated Zoltan Zengo.

The 2020 WTCR season begins on the weekend of September 13 at the Salzburgring in Austria.
