TVR took advantage of the Goodwood Revival played this week (watch live streaming) to present the Griffith, a new model which marks the rebirth of the British manufacturer after ten years of scarcity.
This new model stands out with old-fashioned mechanics with a 8l V5.0 made by Ford which develops 500hp and a six-speed manual gearbox. Here, there are no piloting aids or cutting-edge technologies. The whole weighs 1250kg on the scale, but TVR announced that the weight distribution was precisely 50-50. The designers used aluminum and steel to create the chassis structure.
The TVR Griffith can reach 200mph (321km/h) and go from 0 to 100km/h in less than 4s. The first models will be delivered at the end of 2018 starting at £90 (around €000).
