A tenth victory in Macau for Rob Huff

The King of Macau has struck again. In the running for a tenth victory on the legendary Guia track, Rob huff reached this mark this Saturday during the first race of TCR China, contested as part of the Macau Grand Prix.

The driver of the MG 6 XPower pocketed this success by starting from pole (his tenth) and dominating the Chinese Ma Qing Hua (Lynk&Co 03 TCR). If the latter had taken the advantage at the first corner, Huff was able to respond immediately by taking the best from Lisboa.

A first part of the race where an incident involving five cars forced race management to deploy the safety car. A neutralization followed by a brief restart before a new incident, notably involving Rodolfo Avila, one of the contenders for the title against Ma Qing Hua.

The race direction was forced to put up a long red flag this time, leading to a one-lap sprint, which ultimately saw Rob Huff win ahead of Ma Qing Hua and Felipe de Souza (Audi RS 3 LMS TCR). With his second place, Ma Qing Hua clinches the TCR China 2020 title.
