A promising starting grid for the Spa TCR500

From October 3 to 6, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit will welcome a panel of competitors for the first edition of the TCR Spa 500. With 500 laps and 15 nationalities on the program, the race is likely to make noise.

“Spa has always been special to us. […] It’s the national circuit, I actually attended my first 24 Hours on this circuit in 1977 when I was only 5 years old. Today, I have participated fifteen times. » explains the director of the WRT team, Vincent Vosse.

40 teams are officially entered for this endurance race promoted by WSC (World Sporting Consulting) and its president Marcello Lotti. Belgium is at the forefront with a total of 6 teams entered, while France and the Netherlands follow suit with 5 entries each.

Among the main headliners, we find regulars from the WTCR and TCR Europe, with the WRT Team of Vincent Vosse and two Audi RS3 LMS. Comtoyou Racing will operate a Cupra TCR, when JSB Compétition will logically trust its Peugeot 308.
